Day 1 / Punta Arenas - City Tour Punta Arenas.
Airport Reception in Punta Arenas. Transfer to Selected Hotel in Punta Arenas. Accommodation. During the afternoon, we’ll make a City Tour through Punta Arenas, the southernmost city in the American continental territory. exploring the history of Patagonia. The first stop will be the lookout in “Cerro de la Cruz” (Cross Hill), a place in which you will obtain a panoramic view of the city, the strait of Magellan, and on the horizon, the Great Island of “Tierra del Fuego” (Land of Fire). The tour will continue through the well-conserved streets of the city until we arrive at the Parade Ground, a square surrounded by colonial buildings and also, the place where you will find the monument of Hernando de Magallanes. Later, we will visit the Nao Victoria Museum, a replica of the ship used by the Portuguese navigator Hernando de Magallanes. The last part of the day includes a tour through the north part of the city, allowing you to appreciate a great amount of landmarks, such as the “Monumento al Ovejero” (Shepard’s Monument), the “Plaza Croata” (Croatian Plaza), the “Plaza de Antoine de Saint-Exupery” and many neighborhoods in Punta Arenas. Finishing the tour, we will come back to the Hotel in Punta Arenas (accommodation included).
Day 2 / Punta Arenas.
Free day to participate in personal activities. Accommodation in selected Hotel.
Day 3 / Punta Arenas - OUT.
At the appointed time, transfer to Punta Arenas Airport to board the flight to your destination.
